- The recovery timescale not still uncertain.
Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to miss vast majority of the “REDS” upcoming fixtures of 2018-2019 season. It would be recalled vividly that, Chamberlain injured his knee in the course of Liverpool’s Champions League semifinal clash against Roma in April.
Liverpool Jurgen Klopp said in a statement that “his (Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain) surgery which he had on the day of our second leg in Roma has been completely successful and his recovery has started superbly well.” But the truth of the matter is that we are preparing this season knowing he will not be with us on the pitch for competitive matches for the majority of it. If we do see him back this season it will be a bonus.”
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for his active part played, he made 42 appearances for the Anfield outfit during his first season at Liverpool after his transfer went as planned for a fee of €40 million from Arsenal.
