- Atiku Abubakar alleges APC for trying to rig 2019 general election.
- Says PDP is also prepared for any challenge.
Former Vice president Atiku Abubakar asserted that the All Progressive Congress (APC) has an ostentatious plan to rig 2019 general election, including the presidential election. Atiku accompanied by his campaign director general Gbenga Daniel who was a former governor of Ogun State, was in Taraba State seek for his presidential aspiration.
Atiku stated that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was absolutely prepared to face the challenges from APC in the forthcoming poll.
In his statement, he said “I have come to formally place before you a request for you to support me emerge, not only as the candidate of our great party PDP, but become the president of this country in 2019. “I believe you will oblige to my request,” he said.
He further stated that “Taraba has maintained the party’s continuity, handing over from PDP to PDP”. I urge you to continue to do PDP and support PDP. He said he will restructure Nigeria once he emerges has president of Nigeria.
It should be noted that, Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is a Presidential candidate under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
