The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has opened up on the reason he visited ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta on Monday.
Saraki held a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at the latter’s pent house within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta on Monday.
Speaking to journalist, he said, “You know, I missed the official opening of the library and that is why I have decided to come and see the place and, honestly, it is beautiful.
“We are very proud of what he has done here.”
It was gathered that the embattled Senate President hurriedly entered his vehicle and it zoomed off when journalists asked him questions about the crisis rocking the National Assembly.
