A 35-year-old man, name withheld, ambushed his estranged wife in maize plantation armed with a machete and slashed her several times and left her in the lonely bush.
He then hurried home and took poison which killed him as neighbours rushed him to hospital.
His brother said:
“My brother had separated with his first wife before marrying another woman. In addition to accusations of infidelity, he was a disturbed man and loved alcohol,”
The wife is admitted at the Molo sub-county hospital where she is nursing deep cuts.
