The Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has declared Thursday, a work-free day in the state to enable all public officers who have not registered their voters card to do so, to avoid being disenfranchised.

This was contained in a press statement issued on Wednesday by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Yemi Olowolabi, who said the holiday is to enable public servants to also participate fully in the ongoing voters registration exercise which will end on August 31.
