Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has criticized the detention of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky descring such action as one of the greatest injustice in Nigeria since President Muhammadu Buhari came to power.

El-Zakzaky has been in detention since an altercation between some of his followers and soldiers in Zaria, Kaduna state on December 15, 2015.

Omokri, who took to his verified Twitter handle to condemn El-Zakzaky’s detention, saying, “The greatest injustice in Nigeria since 2015 is that done to Ibrahim Zakzaky. 347 Shiite men, women, and kids killed by the army on Dec 15, 2016. His sons killed. He was placed in illegal detention and now denied bail. Is it because he is a Muslim that we are not speaking up?”
